Donald Ray “Donnie” Mullins, Jr., 47 years of age of Athens, WV, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born July 9, 1973 in Bluefield, WV, he was the son of Donald Ray Mullins, Sr., of Prestonsburg, KY and Sandra Lynn Sliger Grizzel of Princeton, WV.

Donnie was a professional self-employed horse trader, loved spending time with his family. He was a loving father, son and brother.

He was preceded in death by his son Cody Don Mullins April 1, 1996.

Those left to cherish his memories in addition to his parents, Donald Ray Mullins, Sr., of Prestonsburg, KY and Sandra Lynn Sliger Grizzel of Princeton, WV include his daughter Ava Jo Blevins of Wayne, WV; sons Dakota Don Mullins of Princeton, WV, Donovan Kyle Mullins of Harold, KY; sister Symantha Mullins of Prestonsburg, KY; brothers Jessee Wayne Mullins and wife Brittany of Athens, WV, Garrett Raymond Mullins and wife Keneisha of Prestonsburg, KY.

He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service for Donald Ray “Donnie” Mullins, Jr., will be held at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel of Keen Mountain, VA, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Lonnie Rife and Reverend Billy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Puckett Hatfield Cemetery on Buckeye Hollow Road, Jolo, WV.

Active pallbearers will be his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home Chapel of Keen Mountain, VA, Thursday, from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 1:00 p.m.
