Randolph aka “Randy” Woods age 68, who resided at the McDowell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Gary, WV, where he departed this life on Thursday, December 17, 2020.  He was born on the 14th day of February, 1952 in Superior, WV and one of seven children born to the late Grady Sr. and Trannie (Valentine) Woods.  He was a graduate of Welch High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Army.  He enjoyed life, loved his family and was a loyal friend.  He was an avid fan of the Washington (former Redskins) Foot ball Team.  

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by one sister, Mary and three brothers:  Grady Jr., Theodore and Worley Woods.  Randy will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart and loving spirit. 

He leaves cherished memories to his son, Randy Robinson of Alabama; his sisters, Loretta Woods Nowlin of Kimball and Elizabeth (Curtis) Stephens of Cleveland, OH; one sister-in-law, Gloria Woods of Hampton, VA; his nephews, nieces and cousins and both the Staff and Residents at the McDowell Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  

A Committal Service will be held at 12:30 p.m., on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, 5550 Bagging Plant Road in Dublin, VA, with the Reverend George Masterson, officiant.  Interment will follow.
