Geneva Francis Williams Perdue, 97, of Princeton, formerly of Carswell Hollow, died early Monday morning, January 4, 2021, at Stonerise Assisted Living Facility.
Born October 12, 1923 at Carswell Hollow, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Luther and Lula Mae Witt Williams.
Geneva was a graduate of Welch High School. She had worked for Jones & Spry in Kimball, Keystone National Bank and J. C. Penny’s in Welch. While her health permitted, she was an active member of Carswell Community Church where she sang in the choir. She loved her church, reading, traveling, working puzzles, and sitting on her front porch. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hansel A. Perdue along with five siblings.
Those left to cherish her memory, her loving and devoted daughter, Bridget Delgrande and husband Phillip of Princeton;
One loving grandson, Phillip Michael Delgrande and wife Danielle;
Three loving great-grandchildren, Liam Michael Delgrande, Falyan Marie Delgrande and Phillip Michael Delgrande III ;
Loving sister, JoAnn England;
Several nieces and nephews.
Private services for family only to celebrate the wonderful life of Geneva Williams Perdue will be held Friday, January 8, 2021, from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastor Donald Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
Due to the Governor’s mandate, masks and social distancing, will be observed. Online condolences may be shared with the family via www.memorialfd.com.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
