Alvin Alexander Saunders, 63, of War WV, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Welch Community Hospital in Welch WV. Born January 25, 1957, in Welch WV, he was the son of the late David Matthew and Elizabeth Kozar Saunders.

He was of the Baptist Faith and loved to hunt and fish.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, one daughter, Suzanna Marie Saunders.

Survivors include, his loving wife of 42 years Jennifer Sue Saunders, two sons, David Alexander Saunders and wife Cynthia, Daniel Alvin Saunders and wife Amanda, two daughters, Delena Helen Muncy and husband Ricky, and Elizabeth Lynn Saunders, two brothers, Larry Douglas Saunders of NC, and Samuel Lee Saunders of War WV, one sister, Martha Helen Saunders of War WV, fourteen Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, January 15, 2021 at 12 Noon from the Emmanuel Baptist Church in War WV, with Pastor Spencer Oxford officiating; burial will follow at the Big Creek Cemetery, Big Creek WV. Friends may call Friday, January 15, 2021 from 11 A.M. TO 12 Noon at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in War WV Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced with no more than 25 people in attendance.
