Brick By Brick: A backhoe shoves bricks from a collapsed chimney out of the street in Gary Bottom Tuesday morning. “We were lucky,” said Gary Police Chief S.  P.  Pat McKinney, “ No injuries.  No power or other utility wires down.  No other property damage. McDowell County has had a long struggle dealing with burnt abandoned structures.”
