GARY, W.Va. – According to Gary Police Chief S.P. “Pat” McKinney, Tyler Collins of Gary was arrested Thursday afternoon on several charges.
One charge was a capias for failure to appear in reference to his home confinement on driving revoked for DUI charge.
The second was failure to appear for a domestic violence charge against his mother who he was saying with during his home confinement sentence.
The third charge was a petit larceny warrant for stealing a weed eater from the house he went to stay in after the domestic violence arrest.
Collins was committed without bond to the McDowell County Holding Unit to await a hearing on the capias.
McKinney said the arrest went without incident.
