Ellis Blevins, 75, of Caretta WV, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Princeton Community Hospital, in Princeton WV.
Born September 10, 1945, in McDowell County WV, he was the son of the late, Robert and Elma Grose Blevins. He was an employee of the Deskins Supermarket in Welch for several years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Hubert, Oliver, and Nathan Blevins, sisters, Delilah Payne and Audrey Simpkins, mother in law, Audrey Deskins, father in law, William Deskins, brother-in-law, Eugene Deskins.
Survivors include, his wife Retha Deskins Blevins of the home, one daughter, Lori Blevins Smith, and husband Andy of Severville, TN, grandson, Justin Smith and wife Ashley of TN, two greatgrandchildren, Gabriel Smith and Evelyn Smith,  two sisters, Eunice Dikmen of Berryville VA, one loving brother, Ervin Blevins of Atwell WV, one brother-in-law, Oktey Dikmen of Berryville VA, one sister-in-law, Linda Blevins of Atwell WV wife’s family survivors, brother, Arnold Deskins and wife Linda Everett Deskins and Connie Deskins, Hobert Deskins, and wife Terry Deskins, Carl Deskins and Wife Hazel, Arlin Deskins and son Dylan Deskins, Freda Poore, and Tommy Poore, Barbara Hamilton and Kenny Hamilton, Wanda Price, Yvonne Hatfield, and husband Brian, Elizabeth and Stanley Dobbs, Doyle Dobbs, many Nieces and Nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, February, 24, 2021 at 12 Noon from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in War WV; with Pastor Charles Rose officiating; Burial will follow at Shortridge Cemetery on Garland Mtn. Friends may call Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon at the Fanning Funeral Home chapel in War WV.
