Cheryl Lynn “Sherry” Church, 60, of Jolo, WV, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 in Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN.
Sherry was born January 14, 1961 in Welch, WV, a daughter of the late Mack and Helen Breeding Coleman. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a friend to many. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Sherry enjoyed working with flowers, photography, crafts, and her bling.
In addition to her parents, Mack “Buddy” and Helen Coleman, Sherry was preceded in death by a sister, Pinkie Totten and a brother Mack Coleman Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Roger “Sam Cat” Church of the home; two sons, Justin Hale and Whitney Rife of Piney Flats, TN and Hunter Church of the home; one daughter, Brittany (Linus) Evans of Grey, TN; one sister, Dianne (Coy) Wimmer of Piney Flats, TN; two brothers, Howard (Polly) Coleman of Piney Flats, TN and Willard (Annie) Coleman of Bulls Gap, TN; grandchildren, Braxton and Maizie Hale; special nieces, Rebecka and Kelsey Wimmer; special nephew, Joseph Wimmer; special great nephew, Parker Wimmer; mother-in-law, Faye Church of Bradshaw, WV; and special friends, Paul Crigger and Cleave Pruitt.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Roger Pete Woods officiating at the Jesus Church of Bartley in Bartley, WV. Burial will in Coleman Cemetery at Buckeye near Jolo, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family at the Jesus Church of Bartley Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, mask are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
