Sylvester “Sky” Edwards, 71, of Northfork WV, passed away, Monday, April 19, 2021, in Northfork WV.

Born, November 21, 1949, in Welch WV, he was the son of the late, Theanuel Isaiah and Viola Hooser Edwards.

He spent the last nine years in McDowell County farming and building a living legacy. He attended the Little Vine Baptist Church. He was a highly decorated Marine Veteran of the Vietnam Era.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, two siblings, Maggie and Ronnie.

Survivors include, his wife, Angeline Annette Edwards of Northfork WV, two daughters, Nicole Jarvis of Premier WV, Letia White of Northfork, WV, three sons, Johnathan Cox and Wife Felicia of Keystone, WV, Corey Edwards of Columbus OH,  Keith Edwards of Columbus OH, four sisters, Rose, Sadie Mae, Shirley, Diana, brothers, William, Joseph, Theodore, Anthony, Terry, and many Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 3 p.m. at the Little Vine Baptist Church in Superior WV, with brother Jute Sizemore, and Brother Tom Belcher officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to services.
