Coalwood Collects 84 Bags of Trash During Adopt a Highway Spring Clean Up

COALWOOD, W.Va. – Cape Coalwood Restoration Association had its 23rd year Adopt A Highway Spring Clean Up campaign Saturday, April 24, 2021. Volunteers picked up 84 bags of trash and other items covering 5.5 miles. There were nine volunteers David Williams, Jan Williams, Reba Bolt, Teresa Nester, John Wagner, James DeHaven, Carol DeHaven, and two new volunteers Charlotte Stamper and Billy Conley.  Additional support was provided by McDowell County Sherriff’s Department, Deputy J. Horn.
