Brenda Kay Johnson, 75, of Avondale, West Virginia passed away Monday, May 10, 2021. Born March 04, 1946 in Garland, West Virginia; Brenda was the daughter of the late Ervin Addair and Mary Williams.

Brenda was a Homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren, her babies and her dog, Cinnamon.

Preceding Brenda in passing, in addition to her parents, her late husband, A. J. Johnson; sister, Betty Roberts; as well as two brothers: Tommy Addair and Ervin Addair, Jr.

Surviving family left to cherish Brenda’s memory include: three daughters: Mary Lunsford and Carl Phillips of Bluefield, WV, Beverly Steele and Dickie Robinette of Mile Branch, WV and Rita LaBarre and husband, Jeffery of Bluefield, WV; brothers: Edgar Addair of North Carolina and Michael Addair of Raysal, WV; sisters: Carol Bowles of North Carolina, Phyllis Addair of North Carolina, Hulonda Bowles of Mooresville, NC and Drema Rowe and husband Raymond of Grapevine, WV. 

Additional survivors include: Michael Orndorff of Bluefield, WV, Casey Johnson of Mile Branch, WV, Landon Blankenship, Savannah Lunsford and Carly Lunsford of Bluefield, WV.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Danny Bowles officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV. Burial will follow at Short Ridge Cemetery on Garland Mountain, near Garland, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
