WAR, W.Va. – The City of War held their Municipal Election yesterday, May 11th, 2021 and the results are as follows:

In the race for Mayor, incumbent Robert Beavers won by a wide margin with 123 votes against Grover Mahone, following with 40 votes.

For City Recorder, Sarah Muncy ran unopposed and received 150 votes.

For City Council, Herb Billings led with 134 votes, followed by Debbie King at 119, Emma Shelton at 106, David Deel at 100, Crystal Matney at 98, Loretta Hampton at 89, Bill Boyd at 65, and Oggie Davis at 34.
