Heidia Dawn Neal, 69, of Davy passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home.
Born January 26, 1952 in Pulaski, VA she was the daughter of the late Arnold Edwards and Norma Ruth Edwards. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Eldon Duncan Jr; two sisters, Debra Freeman and Dana Marie Edwards.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Cecil Neal of the home; a son, Robert Anderson Duncan of Pulaski; two brothers, Arnold Ray Edwards Jr. of Vinton, VA and John Lee Edwards of Pulaski; and her granddaughter Kelsey Dawn Duncan of Hanover.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Mortuary Chapel in Welch with the Reverend Michelle Neal officiating. Burial will follow at the Neal Family Cemetery in Davy.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11 AM to 1:00 PM.
Services will be held in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines, masks are to be worn by all attending and social distancing is to be practiced.
