Sharon Lee Muncy Belcher, age 70, departed this side of the veil on May 11, 2021, peacefully in her sleep. She was the daughter of the late John and Nellie Green Muncy. She was a graduate of Iaeger High School and Concord College. She was a social worker, retiring from Welch Community Hospital. She was a master seamstress for many local families and events, but she has now finished her master garment.  She is a member of the Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jackie A. Belcher, and one brother, James “Jimmy” Muncy.

Left to cherish her life include her children:  Sharryn LaNelle Reed, and husband, Donald Reed Jr. of Welch WV; Jackie Belcher and wife Angie from Manassas, VA; Arlene Toler and husband Tommy of Nitro, WV; and Marlene Wimmer and husband Dave of Clearfork, WV.  Grandchildren:  Evan and Keaton Reed; Joe, Tony, and Andrew Toler; Jackie Belcher; and Mary & Danny Walls. 11 Great Grandchildren. Siblings: Faye King and husband Howard of Drennen, W.Va., Rebecca Blevins and husband Kenny of Harpers Ferry WV, Lydia Belcher of Belcher Mountain and husband David; two brothers, John David Muncy and wife Susanne of Salisbury, N.C. and Mark Muncy and wife Tonia of Stewartville, AL; Sister-in-Law Imogene Muncy of Roderfield; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 14, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. with Pastor John Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Cemetery near Princeton, WV.  The family will serve as pallbearers.  Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
