Remembering Mary Ann Widener

Mary Ann Widener, 73, of “Brick Row” Keystone entered the arms of the Lord Thursday July 29, 2021 at a Reston, VA Hospital. She was born March 24, 1948 in Crozier Bottom Elkhorn, WV. She was the daughter of the late Floyd W. Graham and Sally Belle.

Mary and her late husband James Widener Jr. owned and operated Widener Funeral Home for the past 35 years. She was a member of the Burke Baptist Church in Keystone. She will be remembered for her one of a kind personality and compassionate heart. Mary was a loving and caring woman, her influence will remain in the lives of all that knew her. She was an avid animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her husband James Widener Jr. in 2017, her only loving daughter Jennifer Ann Widener, and two sisters.
Her life will forever be cherished by her sister Marilyn Mitchem of Yards, VA. Brothers, David Graham of Elkhorn, WV and Joe Graham of Pineville, WV area. Brother in law Michael S Widener and Larry Timm of Bluefield, WV. Special caregiver and devoted friend, Verta L Newman of Keystone, WV.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00AM from the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV with Rev Donnie Farmer and Tim Redden. Entombment will follow after the services . The Family asks in lieu of flowers please make donations to the McDowell County Humane Society, 109 Dogbone Dr. Superior, WV 24801. Please be advised COVID protocol is asked to be followed.

Services for Mary are entrusted to Widener Funeral Home in Northfork, WV.
