Ruby Joann Pruett, 68, or Raysal, WV, passed away Saturday evening, February 5, 2022 at her residence.
Ruby was born in Welch October 19, 1953 a daughter of the late Reverend Harless Rose and Mary Matney Rose. Ruby was a lifetime resident of Atwell.  She was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her parents Ruby was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Sweeney and three brothers, Larry, David, and Earl Rose; and a nephew, whom she loved as a brother, Johnny Blevins.  
Survivors include one son, Steven Pruett of Atwell; one grandson, whom she loved dearly, Kyle Pruett of the home; two sisters, Betty Sweeney and Sarah Price both of Atwell; three brothers, Alvie Bud Rose of Raysal, Bob Rose and wife Marie of Raysal, and Ernest Rose and wife Joan of Atwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, and additional family.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Roger Hale Sr., Reverend Roger Hale Jr. and Reverend Jimmy Justus officiating at the Atwell Mountain United Church of God on Atwell Mountain near Atwell. Burial will in the Deskins Cemetery on Atwell Mountain near Atwell. WV.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Tuesday evening, February 8, 2022 after 6 p.m. at the Atwell Mountain United Church of god on Atwell Mountain near Atwell.
Covid guidelines to be followed by all attending are, the wearing of a face mask and social distancing is to be practiced.
