WELCH, W.Va. – On Monday, March 7th, 2022, another driver fell victim to bad GPS routing in Welch, turning his 53’ refrigerated trailer up Court Street in Welch.

Traffic was severly delayed as multiple attempts were made to free the truck. After nearly 2 hours, K&D Wrecker Service arrived to help turn the trailer.

The yellow barrier holding the stop sign caused trouble during the ordeal, blocking the driver from backing out of the tight street, and has since been removed from the mouth of Court Street.
