Carl Hemp Lester, 79, of Roderfield, WV, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at his residence. Born May 31, 1942 in Sandy Huff, he was the son of the late Bennie Dave Lester and Lola Rachel Richards Lester.

    Carl was a former coal miner and he loved western movies and reading. 

    In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lester; five siblings; Selma Lester Hall, Loris Lester, Arlie Lester, Elzie Lester, and Opal Lester Eversole.

    Those left to cherish his memories are two siblings; Pauline Lester Price and Virginia Lester Wheeler; three grandchildren Misty Jones, Carl Mullins, and Justin Coleman.

    Following Carl’s wishes his body has been cremated.

    There will be no visitation or funeral services.
