MCDOWELL COUNTY, W.Va. – As Spring weather moves across the area, groups across McDowell County are preparing clean up projects to tackle litter lining roadways.

A county-wide cleanup will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 2022.

“Let’s do some Spring cleaning in McDowell,” said Jennifer Justice, Director of the McDowell County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Anyone interested in participating should decide which area to address and contact Jennifer Justice at the McDowell County CVB at (304) 436-4242 or stop by the Jack Caffrey Arts and Cultural Center in Welch to get bags and other supplies for the cleanup.
