Olaf Brian Smith, 41, of Peterstown formerly of Panther, WV, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Brian was born September 25, 1980, in Bluefield, WV, a son of Betty Smith McCoy and the late Olaf Smith.  Brian was a 1999 graduate of Iaeger High School and was employed as a computer systems analyst.  He was a loving husband and father.

In addition to his father, Olaf Smith, Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Lois Justice and his grandfather, Gene Smith, an aunt, Sandra Kennedy and an uncle Raymond Smith.

Survivors include his wife Tiffany Roberts Smith of the home; two children, Brianna Jade Smith and Olaf Brian Smith Jr. both of the home; his mother, Betty McCoy and husband Darrell of Avondale, WV; half-sister, Angela Ratliff of Wayne, WV; grandmother, Patsy Smith of Gary, WV; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Mary Roberts of Avondale, WV; sister-in-law, Crystal Hunt and husband Chad of Falls Mills, VA; brother-in-law, Ralph Roberts Jr. and wife Courtney of Bluefield, WV; two aunts, Christine Parker of Panther, WV, Debbie Endicott and husband DJ of Gilbert, WV; uncle, Clarence Junior Justice of Panther, WV; niece Amanda Duty ; nephews, Dakota Endicott and Tommy Kennedy; cousins, Jason Smith, Scotty Smith, Brandon Smith and Anthony Smith; aunt, Clarsie Smith of Pounding Mill, VA, and Uncle Darrell Smith and wife Jennifer of Abingdon, VA.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 30, 2022 with Pastor Randall Dority and Brother Jason Smith officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV.  Burial will follow in the Justice Cemetery at Trace Fork near Panther, WV. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Friends may visit with the family Friday evening, April 29, 2022 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger; evening services will be conducted at 7 o’clock.
