A Celebration of Life for Bettina Ineene Premo, age 40, of Carswell Hollow in Kimball, will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 3-6 P.M. in the fellowship hall of The Cornerstone in Welch (the former First Presbyterian Church).
Bettina went to be with Our Lord, Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 7:00 PM at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born January 17, 1982 at Welch, WV, she was the daughter of Dewey Wilson Premo Jr. and Lina Mae Premo of Carswell.
She was a life long member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Welch where she taught Sunday School and was also on the Board. She was a 2000 Honors graduate of Mount View High School where she was president of the Art Honor Society. She was and exceptional daughter, sister and aunt. She helped raise all her nieces and nephews. She worked at the Welch Bantam Market for 4 years and her friends knew her as “Peachy”. Before that she worked at The Hope Chest in Welch for many years. She also was the Madam President of The Council of Southern Mountains for a brief time.
She had the most beautiful smile and loved to share it with the world. She was talented and put her all in everything that she did. She loved God with all her heart and told us she’d see us in heaven.
She is preceded in death by an older sister, Mary Premo of Narrows, VA.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Carmella and Darrell Williams of Davy, Angela and Larry Maynard of Davy, Doreen Riffe and fiancé David Wagner of Welch and her pride and joy, four nieces and seven nephews and a great nephew, Little Mikey and her best friend “Wifey” Ashley Buddenburg.
In honoring Miss Premo’s wishes her body was cremated.
