FANNIE FAYE CHURCH

Fannie Faye Church, 85, of Bradshaw, WV, passed away at her residence Sunday, May 15, 2022.

Faye was born March 1, 1937 in Pea Patch, VA, a daughter of the late Newt and Mary Mullins Church. She was a homemaker, of the Pentecostal Faith and a life long resident of Bradshaw, WV.  Faye had a very loving heart and loved everyone she met.  She was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Faye enjoyed talking to her friends, siting on her porch, and taking care of her flowers.   

In addition to her parents, Newt and Mary Church, Faye was preceded in death by her step mother, Blanche Church; one daughter, Peggy Church Milonas; one brother Jody Church; and six sisters, Lizzie Church, Eva Johnson, Maude Pickel, Ella Mae Hagerman, Pauline Layne, and Lorene Church.  

Survivors include two daughters, Susie Hagerman and husband, James of Bradshaw, WV, and Christine Rife and husband, Keith of Pea Patch, VA; two sons, Jerome Church and friend, Diane of Trinity, NC, and Sammy Church of the home; seven grandchildren, Sandra Reed and husband, Frankie, Karla Coleman and husband, Alva, Amie Hancock, Brian Rife, Hunter Church, Justin Hale and wife, Whittney, Brittany Evans and husband, Linus; great grandchildren, Tyler Hughes, Haley Reed, Tucker Coleman and wife, Michaela, Alex Coleman, Kallie Coleman, Riley Hancock, Braxton Hale and Maizie Hale; a great-great grandson, Michael Hall and great-great granddaughter Coleman on the way; one brother, Charles Church Jr. and wife Barbara of Pounding Mill, VA; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Thursday, May 19, 2022, with Reverend Charles Rose. Reverend Joey Proffitt and Reverend Keith Rife officiating at the Family Worship Center in Jolo, WV. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery at Compton Mountain, VA. Pallbearers will be Claude Payne, Larkin Rippeth, Justin Hale, Billy Johnson, Larry Lester, Carlos Johnson, Keith Payne and Paul (Poochie) Allen. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of the Bradshaw Commission on Aging, Bill Rose, Kevin Shelton, Jerry Deel and Cherie Vance of the Bradshaw Medical Clinic.

Friends may visit with the family after 6 p.m. Wednesday evening, May 18, 2022 at the Family Worship Center in Jolo, WV, where an evening service will be held at 7 p.m.
