McDowell County Woman Sentenced in Fatal Thanksgiving Hit-and-Run Case

WELCH, W. Va. - Prosecuting Attorney Brittany Puckett and defendant Angel Estep with counsel appeared before Judge Edward Kornish for sentencing today.

According to court documents, Angel Estep was sentenced to 1 to 5 years in prison, a $5000 dollar fine as well as court costs. Estep is also to serve 10 consecutive days in jail for failure to report an accident.
