Local Official Arrested on Two Charges for Driving Revoked for DUI

WELCH, W.Va. – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office announced Monday evening that a local official had been arrested for Driving Revoked for DUI.

According to Sheriff’s Office officials, City of Welch Development Director Clifton Moore was arrested on a warrant for Driving Revoked for DUI, 2nd Offense.

During the arrest, Moore was found operating a vehicle which resulted in an additional charge of Driving Revoked for DUI.

Moore was arraigned before Magistrate Danny Mitchell and a bond of $2,000 was set.
