Freda “Sweetpea” Cantrell Potter, died August 4, 2022. Born March 16, 1940 to Dolph Cantrell and Elizabeth Bowling Cantrell, both deceased.  

    Freda was preceded in death not only by her parents but, one daughter Kimberly Potter Kingsley, one sister Lois Cantrell Church, three brothers Dolph Cantrell Jr., Charles and Thurman Cantrell.

    She is survived by one daughter Regina Potter Seabolt and one son Kevin Potter; seven granddaughters, Heather Seabolt, Renea Seabolt, Sheena Seabolt, April and Mamie Kingsley, Kristan Waldron, and Hannah Potter; one grandson, Brandon Potter; three great granddaughters Haley, Peyton, and Freedom Kay. Seven great grandsons Landon, Ethan, Alek, Ian, Honor, Sebastian and Noctis. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Douglas Mortuary Chapel in Welch WV, on August 12, 2022 at 11am.
