William “Jamie” James Burke, 48, of Gary, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at his home along with wife, Heidi Rowden Burke of the home.

Jamie was born October 27, 1973, in Welch, West Virginia, the son of James Robert Burke and Shirley Kaye Pinter Burke of Gary. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Chester A. and Eveline Burke; maternal grandparents, Claude and Edna Pinter; brother, Timothy “Tim” Burke.

Survivors include his son, Mason Burke of the home; his parents, James “Jimmy” and Shirley Burke of Gary; and one brother, Jonathan Burke also of Gary. He had several aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him very much.

In keeping with his request, the body has been cremated.

A Memorial Service was held in his honor on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 12:00 PM – Noon at Wilcoe Church of God, Wilcoe, West Virginia with Pastor Ronald Felts officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wilcoe Church of God.
