Castena “Cat” Helen Rotenberry passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13th, 2022, at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley, West Virginia.
She was born in Thorpe, West Virginia to the late Roland and Margaret Dewese Riffe. She was preceded in death by her late brother Roger Riffe. She is survived by her son, Robert “Bobby” Rotenberry, Jr. of Premier, West Virginia; daughter, Jennifer L. White; son in law, Shannon E. White and grandson, Shannon “Cameron” White of Speedway, West Virginia.
Castena graduated from Gary High School and had many jobs throughout the years. She retired a few years ago from The 52 Market in Iaeger, West Virginia. She attended church faithfully at Premier Pentecostal Church and loved spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
She loved life and was thankful for every day. She always said, “One Day at a Time”.
Those who were fortunate enough to know her, Loved her. She touched many lives through this journey – always smiling, saying “Thank you” and “Love You”. She will be so dearly missed.
Funeral Services will be held at Fanning Funeral Home Chapel at 12:00 PM – Noon on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, and officiated by Pastor Randall Dority. Visitation will be held prior to Wednesday’s service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Committal will follow at Iaeger Memorial Cemetery in Roderfield, West Virginia. Pallbearers will be Cat’s family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bowers Hospice House of Beckley, West Virginia.
