Welcome to that time of year all true football fans annually anticipate:  the opening week of football season!

This Friday the two local high school rivalries will inaugurate the 2022 campaign,with River View hosting Mount View at Mitch Estep Field and Westside entertaining Wyoming East at the Burial Ground.

Getting right to the business of the day, the Bear thinks things will shake out in this fashion in the season openers:
