Glen Mullins, 68, of Jolo, WV, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2023, at his residence.
Glen was born November 8, 1954 in Jolo, WV, a son of the late Sidney Claude and Sidney Hagerman Mullins. He was a retired tipple mechanic and a coal truck driver. Glenn was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and squirrel dogs.
In addition to his parents Glen was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Tommy and Irene Thornsbury; one sister, Peggy Harrison; three brothers-in-law, Tommy Harrison, Elby Harrison Jr., and Bill Thornsbury; a sister, Chris Price; two nephews, Keith Mullins and Kevin Thornsbury; sister-in-law, Geraldine Mullins; and a great niece Keegan Sweeney.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Delores Dee Ann Mullins of the home; two sons, Glendon Thomas Mullins and wife LeLe of Monterey, VA and Jeremy David Mullins and wife Katie of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Lalea Paislee-Ann Mullins and Gunner Thomas Mullins both of Monterey, VA, Brady Jeremiah Mullins, Brielle Kate Mullins and Bridget Lacy Mullins all of St. Louis, MO; four brothers, Ralph David Mullins of Bland, VA, Ronnie Mullins and wife Christine of Jolo, WV, Johnny Ray Mullins and wife Sonja of East Bend, NC, and Rusty Mullins and wife Dolly of Jolo, WV; three sisters, Margaret Harrison of Bradshaw, WV, Joyce Mullins Horn and companion Roy “Bad Eye” of Abingdon, VA, and Pansy Price and husband Jeff of Rock Ridge, WV; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Thornsbury of Grundy, VA; brother-in-law, Bobby Thornsbury and wife Mary Shelia of Jolo, WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In honoring the wishes of the deceased his body has been cremated.
A celebration of his life service will be held at a later date.
Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger is assisting the family.
