Okey Jean Steele, 74, of Ikes Fork, WV, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV.
Okey was born January 11, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late Robert E. and Mary Etta Steele.
In addition to his parents Okey was preceded in death by brothers, Roy and Harold Steele.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Jean Steele of the home; son, Edward Steele of Gilbert; brother, James Steele of Steeles; sisters, Anna Hatfield of Steeles and Barbara Coleman of Iaeger; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 23, 2022 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Dennis Walker and Reverend Gary Walker officiating at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger.  Burial will follow in the Steeles Cemetery at Steeles, WV.  Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday morning from 11 a.m. until the time of services at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger.
